Mosaic, Restoration Hatchend
Mosaic is one of the oldest styles of wood flooring still used to this day.
We find we have a lot of mosaic restoration projects which always come out amazing.
The beauty of wood is that it can be sanded after several years for a fresh layer to enjoy once again.
What we did:
We sanded off the old lacqure and a layer of the wood, afterwhich we applied a filler to fill all gaps then fine sanded before applying two coats of clear Osmo hardwax oil.
Total time and people involved:
Three day’s work for Granit and Mursel including the oiling.
