With Walnut species, the great thing is that it is affordable and it is absolutely beautiful, we can produce many colours and finishes on oak however we cannot produce a different species, nature does that and we thank nature by preserving the beauty of the wood.

Lava Oak has a number of colours within the wood, the finish is not created for everyone. Oak has such properties that it takes colours and finishes well, the grain has taken a white colour so it shows through the number of dark colours on the face of the wood.

The difference between a thermally treated oak and a non-thermally treated oak is like night and day. This can be clearly seen with this 6 hour smoked sample with a white oil used to complement the natural dark wood.
