This project consited of a lot of work as the client required a licence to install a wood flooring we removed two levels of floorboards followed by installation of 19mm thick plasterboard which we Installed between the joists, we then instaled joist caps which is a foam material which stops the subtrate having contact with the joists which then reduces impact sound, we then Installed one layer of chipboard followed by a layer of 6mm regupol followed by another layer of chipboard so total two chipboard layers and a final 3mm reguopl layer then finally the wood flooring. as you can imagine this is an enroumous amount of work which we axctualy enjoyed the process. Custom-designed to suit the character of the property for premium interiors.
